Ensuring productive oilfield operations.

PWR designs, deploys and operates mobile and centralized water treatment and recycling systems for oilfield operations, cutting disposal costs, meeting recycling mandates and protecting your reservoir. Treatment tailored to your water chemistry and your schedule, not a one-size-fits-all approach.

What we do

  1. 01

    Freshwater treatment

Full-spectrum programmes matched to your water chemistry, not a standard spec sheet.

Treatment built to reduce microbial contamination in the wellbore, protect well integrity and support production infrastructure from day one, targeting both rapid microbial inactivation and long-term residuals through the full completion sequence. Continuous monitoring and post-frac assessment close the loop.

  2. 02

    Produced water recycling

On-site and centralized recycling and direct reuse, run continuously.

Tailored automation and real-time water quality analytics on every job, displacing freshwater demand and cutting disposal cost across basins. Includes storage water management: lab analysis and field trials to build treatment strategies for water held in ponds or tanks before reuse, which lowers reliance on consumables and chemical spend during completions.

    multi-basin proven · on-site & centralized · direct reuse

  3. 03

    Desalination & advanced treatment

Mobile desalination for high-TDS streams, proven in the Permian and DJ.

The pilot demonstrated beneficial-reuse quality on some of the hardest water in the world, growing crops with native soils and maintaining aquatic life. As produced water regulation tightens, the ability to treat to reuse quality will define the basin’s water future. The pilot is complete; the next step is commercial scale.

    04

    Water quality analysis

Field-to-lab analysis across completions, production and treatment monitoring.

State-of-the-art instruments, custom sampling protocols and documented results you can act on. TDS, hardness, bacterial loading, scaling tendency, kill studies. The analytical capability is what separates PWR from equipment-only providers. We measure, document and optimise on data.

Why PWR

Holistic water treatment, tailored to your operation.

  1. 01 · PhD-led engineering

We know the science, not just the equipment.

PWR is built around PhD-level produced water research from Colorado School of Mines and extensive field operations. Every treatment programme is backed by lab-grade analytics, custom chemical formulations and first-principles water chemistry, not a copy-paste spec sheet.

  2. 02 · Colorado compliance

Meet the recycling mandate without breaking the budget.

Colorado’s produced water recycling requirements are tightening. PWR is one of the few operators actively recycling produced water in the DJ Basin today, with a cost structure that makes compliance economically viable at scale.

  3. 03 · Reservoir integrity

    Protect production. Prevent souring.

Untreated or poorly treated produced water reinjected downhole introduces bacteria and scaling ions, souring reservoirs and limiting long-term well productivity. Treatment programmes are designed around your formation chemistry to protect the asset.

  4. 04 · Fit-for-purpose chemistry

    Your water chemistry. Your solution.

No two wells produce the same water. PWR develops a custom chemical programme for each job from direct water quality analysis: TDS, hardness, bacterial loading, scaling tendency, kill studies. The right treatment for your water, not a standard programme.

Permian Basin · 2024

We treated Permian produced water to crop quality. With a patented pilot system.

PWR designed, constructed and deployed a patented pilot treatment system to demonstrate the feasibility of treating Permian produced water for environmental discharge. It ran continuously, treating raw produced water to a quality high enough to grow crops with native soils and maintain aquatic life. Completed 2024.
